Caffè Lena favorites Annie & the Hedonists return to celebrate the release of their brand new album, Live at Caffè Lena—a dynamic collection of blues, vintage jazz, and Americana recorded right here at Lena’s and produced by Oscar-winning, seven-time Grammy-winning engineer Joel Moss.
This soulful Saratoga-based band blends the spirit of swing-era jazz with the storytelling traditions of folk and roots music. With Annie Rosen’s captivating vocals, the masterful musicianship of Jonny Rosen (guitar), Peter Davis (clarinet, piano), Don Young (bass), and renowned drummer Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Indigo Girls), the band transforms every performance into a journey through musical history.
Their new album features 11 tracks—8 previously unreleased—and showcases guest appearances from Cliff Lyons (Average White Band) and a traditional jazz horn section. It’s a joyful time capsule of the band’s groove, wit, and timeless sound.

This performance will be extra meaningful for us. Jonny Rosen, recovering from shoulder surgery and unable to play guitar, will pass the reins to the incredible Don Young for the night and lend his talents in other creative ways. We’re also thrilled to welcome Dylan Perrillo on bass and Cliff Lyons on saxophone to the stage. Annie is bouncing back strong with a brand-new knee, and the whole band is grateful for the healing and the music that keeps us moving forward.
