Our Members are making these initiatives possible:
Nightly Performances – Annually serving 20,000 people in our historic listening room in Saratoga Springs, NY, and hundreds of thousands in living rooms around the world. Headliners, legends and newcomers, jazz, folk, bluegrass, blues, poetry and storytelling, and much more.
A Stage for Musical Discovery – From Bob Dylan in the ‘60s, to Don McLean in the ‘70s, to Townes Van Zandt in the ‘80s, to Ani DiFranco in the ‘90s, to Anais Mitchell in the ‘00s, to Billy Strings in the ‘10s, to dozens of first-timers this year, Caffe Lena connects the most exciting emerging artists with a supportive, engaged audience.
Caffe Lena On the Road – Your Membership sends live music to nursing homes, at-risk youth programs, the soup kitchen, and even to the living rooms and bedsides of people with debilitating illnesses.
Caffe Lena School of Music – In-person and online group folk music lessons for kids and adults cultivate the next generation of performers, and provide a wholesome pastime that can be shared with others. Full scholarships and loaner instruments are available for students in need.
